The Haryana Group D exam is a recruitment process conducted by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) to fill Group D posts in Haryana. The exam has two stages: a written exam and an evaluation of socio-economic criteria and experience.

• Be an Indian resident

• Be between 18 and 42 years of age

• Have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board

• Have knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit up to the matriculation level

Selection process

Written exam with multiple-choice questions 

Evaluation of socio-economic criteria, including education, family income, occupation, and residence 

Evaluation of job experience in government, municipal, educational, and private sector organizations 

Reservations 

Reservations are available for SC/BCA/BCB/EWS/ESP/PwD and ESM candidates who are bonafide residents of Haryana.

Candidates in the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category must submit a valid EWS certificate

Pay scale

The pay scale for Group D posts is Rs. 16,900-53,500 plus applicable special pay
